Durant and Sampson Talk Small Businesses and Economic Development

Governor Cuomo’s big economic development push has been the regional economic councils. And while the councils did compete for and win grants to spur projects around the state, the chairman’s committee that was supposed to oversee the whole effort has still never met. Unshackle Upstate’s Brian Sampson and NFIB New York’s Mike Durant are both on the council, and they have lots of suggestions for helping the state’s small businesses.
