UFT’s Mulgrew on Teacher Evaluation Fight
New York City schools are in danger of losing out on nearly $60 million in school improvement grants because of an ongoing fight between the city and the teachers’ union. The two sides missed the Dec. 31 deadline to come up with a new teacher evaluation system. But the battle is hardly over. UFT President Michael Mulgrew explains the union’s side.
