NYSCOPBA’s Rowe Discusses Budget Concerns
Wednesday’s joint legislative budget hearing focused on the state workforce. Many state workers unions have expressed concerns about the governor’s Tier 6 pension proposal. That’s just one of the issues NYSCOPBA, which represents corrections officers, has with the budget. Union president Donn Rowe says they are also worried about facility closures and staffing levels.
