NYPIRG’s Mahoney on 2011 Lobbying Spending
It looks like 2011 could be another record-breaking year for lobbyist spending in New York. NYPRIG has a new report out on spending for just the first ten months of the year, and it already tops $187 million. But one change this year is that more of the spending has been in support of various bills instead of against pending legislation.
