Sandra Steingraber Discusses Hydrofracking
Cancer survivor and Ithaca College Ecologist Sandra Steingraber recenly was awarded the Heinz Foundation award and $100,000 for her work as an author and activist for public health. She turned around and pledge to spend that money doing whatever she could to block hydrofracking from being legalized in NYS. She discussed her opposition to the natural gas drilling technique from the DEC Public Hearing in Binghamton.
