CPA Mobility Law Signed
A new law signed by the governor will make it easier for New York’s certified public Accountants to practice outside state lines. Forty-seven other states already have what’s known as CPA mobility, which lets CPAs work outside their home states as long as they’ve met certain requirements. Kevin McCoy, who is a member of the NYS society of CPAs legislative task force, discusses how this will help accountants get more work in and out of New York.
