Rep. Hochul Discusses Debt Ceiling

My God, it is War against our leadership!

When they engaged the nation as people who wanted to serve
their Country and its better interests the implicit agreement was that our
elected officials wouldn’t put themselves first.  First for the myriad of reasons any politician
can refer to in their political handbook, including his/her re-election.  These fools have actually allowed personnel
self-interest to override the good of the Country by failing to bring common
sense into play.  They have denigrated
everything we are, or ever were by engaging in this behavior, so alien to the
American public servants nature throughout our great history. 

We must refine the method by which we judge the character of
those we vote for and if the respective parties fail in their responsibility to
nominate people of character, the American people must refuse to participate in
the electoral process and change the methodology by which we choose our
leaders.  Revolution just doesn’t seem to
adequately describe the actions to which I speak.  We may have to find a different name for
jettisoning a failed method of staffing the political jobs that must be filled
to run our system.  Just as the Middle
East tyrannies found out they could no longer intimidate their populations, I
feel that Americans will no longer be intimidated by local, state or federal
authorities much longer.

I never thought the political leadership would treat their
fellow Americans like total fools and non-deserving of fair and decent economic
policies.  Now after the greatest
redistribution of wealth in our countries history and with the same leadership
in place that fronted for ‘Wall Street’ and a ‘Corporate America’ that continues
to earn record profits, we may have to simply rip this Country apart by its
seams. That a Corporate structure that included financial lending institutions,
could change laws and produce fraudulent financial packages or products to sell
in the widely speculative mortgage lending industry and drive us all into insolvency,
and not be prosecuted was bad enough. 

Then for these same business entities to compound those sick
actions and then put the likes of Treasury Secretaries, Paul Volker or Timothy
Geihtner, into place to bail those interests out for 2 trillion; a trillion of
which the banking industry again invested into highly speculative investments,
as opposed to investing in America’s Small Businesses, and thereby creating
jobs simply demands a violent response from Americans.  I’m sick with indignation and call on our
young to do something for us rather hapless and older Americans.  Our spirits are with you in this grand
endeavor to achieve justice for Americans in their own country.

God bless you and keep you safe when you risk all to rescue
the infirm and insolvent from the hands of the maniacal cult of leadership now
in elected offices throughout America.

So much for “moderate” “nice” Kathy Hochul.  She’s clearly a class-warfare partisan, right out of the Sol Alinsky handbook.  Hope her Republican constituents see this.
