King Hopes For Debt Deal ‘By Monday At The Latest’

The Legislative Budget is Too Damn High

There is only one acceptable solution, no debt limit increase! Other than that the people are looking for Cut, Cap and Balance.  If you can’t do that then resign or prepare to be retired in the next election. 

Old Sg here is a perfect example of why there probably won’t be any compromise. The Republican party would rend itself into several smaller parties if the traditional Republicans split from the Tea Party types and their party is more important than their country. That’s right Sg, their country. You can’t withdraw that level of federal spending from the economy and not experience the leveling effect of another Great Depression.

What old Sg misses is the impact of the 2012 elections. That is when the masses decide they want to tax the rich heavily to pay for a reinvestment in America to rebuild the country.

You’ve got to love that this clown woke up this morning and said to himself, OK, I’m going to dress casual today because it’s Sunday and I want to look like a regular guy, but I’ve got to score some extra points, so where’s that golf shirt with a fire department logo?  Any one of them will do.  I can’t just wear a golf shirt, it’s got to pander somehow or it’s no good.  I know I’ll be on-camera at some point today, so get me a shirt that makes clear – I’m the guy who supports the firemen.  This all before his first donut and coffee (you can bet he wears an NYPD hat when he scores those).
