Trump may sound crass however IMHO he appears delusional.

He certainly met his goal in one area. YES, we can non-consensually disclose personally identifiable information about children from their education records because there is no law against it — HOWEVER just the fact that we can doesn’t mean we SHOULD.

Obama’s hunger for data is beyond scary. Congress remains clueless or silent, neither of which is in the best interest of children.

Trump’s possible POTUS run brings to mind Mort Sahl’s old quip:
“We’ve gone from Thomas Jefferson to Bush 2(now Trump). Darwin was wrong.”

I don’t work for a major oil corporation; and never have.
I have little sympathy for their operations and their Washington lobbying.
This weekend, the five major oil corps. are experiencing Schadenfreude, a delightful German word meaning getting pleasure derived from the misfortunes of others.

Re: yesterday’s NYRA response to Cuomo about outsourcing jobs to another state, I wish Cuomo would call for an Inspector General’s investigation into the whole NYRA operation. These crooks have been scamming the state for decades and after getting tens of tens of millions to bail them out, this is how they respond? By outsourcing jobs, even if they’re not great-paying positions?

The fact that it took their press flack 24 hours to come up with that flimsy repsonse shows how they once again sought to screw this state to line their own pockets.

Someone should shine a light on Hayward and his fellow slimeballs as I’m sure there’s plenty of dirt to uncover in their shady operations.

[Disgraced ex-state Comptroller Alan Hevesi’s onetime political Svengali, Hank Morris, is now his sworn enemy.]

This is absolutely pathetic.

“Alan … was a complete neophyte when it came to the nitty-gritty of politicking.”
“Morris filled that role for Alan.”
“Alan Hevesi ‘was too intimidated by Morris…’”

Let’s check the old resume for Alan the felon:
- B.A. degree in Political Science from Queens College
- Ph.D. in Public Law & Government from Columbia University
- State Assemblyman from 1971 to 1993
- Comptroller of the City of New York from 1994 to 2001
- State Comptroller from 2003 to 2006

Yup, that’s got political neophyte written all over it. And was it the “nitty-gritty of politicking” that landed Hank and Alan in jail?

OMG! Trump’s Mother was born in Scotland. Did you know that? Is he a citizen? Does anybody else want to see his birth certificate??????

And, Seth Myers and POTUS just kicked the crap out of him at the Correspondents dinner. Good jokes, and The Donald’s lack of a sense of humor means he is neither American nor British.

The Donald May be for Real- Regardless:
I don’t think so myself, but I’m beginning to wonder that just maybe there’s some internal polling hanging around that shows the Donald does in fact pose a big threat to O [the prez, not TV person].
One of the time tested rules of campaigning is that you don’t acknowledge or even mention an opponent if they are no threat to you. Remember the most recent campaign for Guv in NYS?
Well, O and the folks around him have continually worked on the Trumpster in public during the past week. Started with the Press Room briefing to release the long form. Just last night the Prez used him as a foil at the Correspondents Dinner; his former press secretary went out of his way at Union College comments to skewer the Donald’s campaign attempt and the list goes on.
So, just maybe there’s something to the Donald’s running that is getting a little scarey for the O folks. Could be the Electorial College map- could be the fear that the R’s wont be able to knock the Donald off themselves????

Bloomberg was interesting on Meet the Press. He certainly wasn’t praising Obama. I know he says he’s not running, however I’d love to see that happen.
