Author Discusses Newburgh Tragedy
A tragedy in the Hudson Valley has one author trying to more people talking about mental illness. On April 12, LaShanda Armstrong drove her family’s minivan into the Hudson River, killing herself and three of her children. Carol Kivler, author of “Will I Ever Be the Same Again?”, says she almost ended up in the same situation.
