Brennan Center Steps Up Calls For Campaign Finance Reform
Friday will be the one year anniversary of the landmark US Supreme Court decision in the Citizen’s United case, which gave corporations and other organizations the ability to spend unlimited amounts of money on independent campaigns to support their preferred candidates and issues. Ciara Torres Spelliscy is a counsel for the center’s Democracy Program. She joined Liz Benjamin from New York City.
