The Senate Republicans are continuing to try to capitalize on the explosive IG’s report on AEG, launching a new Website – givebackthedirtymoney.com – designed to provide updates on what they’ve dubbed the “cash-for-casinos corruption scandal.”

The site provides a clearinghouse of AEG -related information, along with headshots of 18 Democratic incumbents and challengers who have accepted campaign cash from either the DSCC or the senators named in the IG report.

There’s also a clips of Sen. Eric Adam’s infamous “show me the money” speech on the floor of the Senate back in December 2007 during a debate over legislative pay raises. (Adams was one of the Democrats singled out in the report).

“This explosive scandal touches virtually every member of the Senate Democrat conference and nearly every Democrat challenger, whether they played a key role in wiring this deal to AEG or accepted campaign contributions from corrupt politicians like John Sampson and Malcolm Smith,” said SRCC spokesman Scott Reif.

“How will the next Governor ever be able to work with the Senate Democrats since they’ll be spending most of their time in grand jury rooms testifying against each other? The only way you clean up Albany is by putting Republicans back in charge of the Senate, and everybody knows it.”
