Associating With The AG
AG Andrew Cuomo hasn’t yet picked a favorite among the five Democrats vying to replace him, but that hasn’t stopped at least one of them from including a photo of himself with the governor-in-waiting on his campaign Website.
A reader pointed out the fact that Eric Dinallo’s revamped site prominently features a shot of him with Cuomo. (I think WNYC’s Azi Paybarah might have Tweeted this first, in which case the H/T belongs to him).
There’s also a picture of Dinallo with his former boss, ex-AG Eliot Spitzer, with the following banner headline: “The only candidate to have worked in the attorney general’s office, Eric helped make it the powerhouse it is today.”
If you click there, you get information about how Dinallo “uncovered” the Martin Act, which Spitzer used to take on Wall Street – the act for which he is most celebrated (although, since the prostitution scandal that forced him from office, perhaps not most well-known).
