As the tension mounts in Albany over the late budget and thousands of state workers forced to cut their hours and pay, the AFL-CIO is targeting individual lawmakers this election year who they say aren’t looking out for the interests of working men and women.  They’ve already zeroed in on downstate Democrats Craig Johnson and Jeff Klein, papering their districts with fliers outlining their so-called “broken promises.”  And they’re prepared to go after other incumbents.  AFL-CIO President Denis Hughes stopped by the Capital Tonight studio to talk more about the organization’s plan.
