• The results of yesterday’s school budget votes are in, and about 96 percent of them passed. But among districts that tried to excede the property tax cap, that number drops. And many districts had to tap into reserve funds to keep the tax increase below two percent. Tim Kremer of the NYS School Boards Association, Rick Timbs fo the Statewide School Finance Consortium and Bob Lowry of the NYS Council of School Superintendents will join for a panel discussion on school budgets.
